Debra Innocenti's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
It is estimated that San Antonio has over 100,000 homeless dogs -- dogs that were abandoned by their owners, lost, or born as strays. CHIEF (pictured left) is an older dog (somewhere between 7 and 9 years old) who arrived skin and bones at the pound, heartworm positive, dehydrated and malnourished. We adopted Chief at the end of August. A month later, he's now a smiling, healthy member of the Alvarez-Innocenti pack.
Every year, the Humane Society shelters, medically treats, and rehabilitates over 5,000 animals that have been injured, abused, owner surrendered, or found as strays until ready for adoption. Through its volunteer and foster care programs and other educational programs such as Camp Humane, the HS educates the public on the importance of micro-chipping and spaying/neutering. It offers adoptions and supports the community’s No Kill Plan by transferring animals from the San Antonio and Bexar County government shelters. With the help of your donations, the HS plans to expand its facility with a shelter medicine hospital for spay/neuter and treatment wards. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
