April showers bring May flowers and kittens to the shelter. The month of June is “Kitten Shower” month for the shelter.  We would love it if you could stop by during public hours to see our many kittens and cats waiting for their furever homes and bring something from our “registry”.

Our public hours are weeknights from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Sat.-Sun. 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. We are located at 490 Inman Ave., Colonia, NJ behind The Hair Place.

Recently one of our oldest “residents”, Tiger, a 15 year old orange boy was adopted into his furever home by someone who was specifically looking for a senior.  Tiger’s family had to give him up when they found themselves homeless and Tiger was heartbroken, finding himself in a cage among so many other cats, when all he knew was the loving home he had as an only cat.  He was depressed for months when he first arrived at Angel PAWS, and we honestly didn’t know if he was going to make it.  He finally adjusted, and showed us his true purrsonality – that of a great cat!  When his new owner met him, it was love at first sight, and now Tiger lives the good life in Greenwich Village.  This adoption really demonstrates that there is a loving home out there for each and every one of our cats and kittens.  Now with kitten season here upon us, we hope that there will be a home for each and every kitten, so they will grow up in a loving home, rather than with us.
