On August 5th, 2006, Lucky Dog Rescue will be participating in an event called Bowl-A-Rama for Animal Rescue, organized by Pets911. The event is a Bowlathon with close to 60 of Arizona's rescue groups participating, and we bowl against each other at Shea Lanes in Phoenix.

The event is a fun way to raise money and get everyone together on a hot summer day to cool off and enjoy a day of bowling!  Last year we raised over $5000 participating in the event, and we'd like to meet that goal again this year. ALL proceeds raised in pledges for Lucky Dog Rescue will go to our rescue group and support our mission of saving dogs who have run out of options and find themselves on the euthanasia list at high kill shelters throughout Arizona. We focus on saving dogs on their last day, when they hit the "e-list" and we take them and give them a second chance at life and we find them new loving homes.  Please support our cause and help us "strike out" euthanasia in Maricopa County!!
