As you can tell by the picture, poor Chase has gone through some hard times. He was the unfortunate victim of abuse. His face was badly cut up and disfigured and his previous owners never took him to be treated. Now he is having to go through several reconstructive surgeries. Despite all of this, Chase is still a loving and playful young dog. Your generous donations will go towards covering his vet bills.

6/11 Update - Chase is doing great and learning to live inside a home. He is with two other GSD and is starting some basic training including walking on a leash. His family says "He’s learning to heel nicely and we stop on occasion for a moment of tenderness.. he’s always up for a kiss.  He is an honest dog and very intelligent – and I’m not bragging either.  He’s just a love and I can tell he wants to please and be loved back."  Thank you again for helping us help Chase. We could not do this wonderful work without you!

6/24 Update - Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for helping us pay for Chase's vet bill. It is so heart warming to see the help and support that is out there even in this tight economic time. Chase is still doing well and continuing his training. He still has one more surgery coming up (not scheduled yet). And if he could say thank you, I know he would.
