Opie is a four month old purebred chocolate lab that Lucky Dog Rescue saved after his owner turned him into the Humane Society.  Unfortunately Opie tested positive for parvo, a very serious viral infection that affects the digestive system by preventing the absorption of nutrients and fluids.  We saved this little guy because someone else gave up on him.  The prognosis for Opie's recovery is favorable but we need your support to be able to provide him with the treatment he needs.

Update: 5/14

Opie is doing great. He is eating and looking much better. He is off the IV for now, but still in ISO and under careful watch of everyone at Scottsdale Vet. This little guy will be looking for a foster home soon.
