This yellow lab mama and pups were scheduled to be euthanized. Thanks to our incredible circle of supporters and fosters, she was saved just in time!!

Mama dog will need surgery on her eyes to correct a condition called entropion. This is a condition that some shar peis have where the eyelashes grow inward into the eye and scratch the eye chronicaly. It can lead to blindless and is very painful when left this way. So as soon as we can take her from the puppies for a bit, we will get the surgery done. It's around $500. The cost of spaying and neutering, vaccinating and vet-checking all the pups will be close to $1000. We appreciate everyone's support, both from sponsorship and fostering,  it truly keeps the rescue going and allows us to continue to help dogs in need. Mama and puppies will be getting picked up today!!
