Kiki needs eye surgery to relieve pain
**THANK YOU to all who donated! We're almost there!!
We have the surgery scheduled for a week from today, going on faith that the last $150 will get raised. Thank you to everyone who was so generous to donate. Kiki will be having her surgery done by a very experienced vet who specializes in this type of entropion eye surgery on shar peis, so we are confident that it will be very successful and she'll be in good hands.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Kiki was rescued on her last day at the county shelter. She was about to be euthanized because of her eye problems. Shar Peis are prone to have a condition called entropion where the eye lashes grow inward toward the eye and scratch the cornea, causing severe pain and vision problems. It's a straight forward corrective surgery to help them see better and for pain relief, so we wanted to give Kiki that opportunity to have a second chance at a better life, pain free!!
