Animals nationwide are losing their homes at a record pace. Rescues and shelters are full to overflowing. There is NEVER enough money to help all the animals who need help. So here's your chance to make a difference.

In the Richmond area, there are far too many "kill" shelters - shelters where family pets are dumped and have a few days to get adopted or they will be euthanized. This is where the Richmond Animal League (RAL) steps in. They regularly pull adoptable dogs and cats from the counties of Chesterfield, Henrico, Powhatan, Caroline, New Kent, and Prince George, as well as Richmond Animal Care and Control.

RAL is a no-kill shelter where dogs and cats live safely and comfortably until they find their forever homes. Doing this fine work is expensive. And that's where you come in.

Donating to RAL's fundraiser - Best in Show 2010 - is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts for the Richmond Animal League. My official goal is to raise $3,000 for RAL. My personal goal is "the sky's the limit". So, please help me help the discarded dogs and cats who are not lucky enough to be snuggling up to a loving human tonight.
