All American Dachshund Rescue (AADR) is fostering these two adorable senior dachshunds.  These poor darlings were given up by their owners and now need extensive medical surgery before they can go to their new furever home to live out their senior years.

Pepe was diagnosed with stones in his urethra and bladder. On Tuesday, he completed a surgery called a Cystotomy which is a procedure that involved cutting into the bladder. The stones removed from his urethra and his bladder and his recovery will take a couple of weeks. Pepe's surgery came to a total of $542.50.  Pepe is still recovering from surgery and he is kept alone in a quiet room in the house. He has about a 2 inch incision along his belly, poor little guy. He is so sweet and all he wants to do is play! He does not act like a senior at all. 

Daisy needs to have extensive dental surgery that could cost as much as $455.00. She needs to not only have a cleaning but a few extractions as well. She will also need to be on antibiotics for infection. Daisy is a loving, sweet girl that just wants to follow someone around all the time. She loves people and other dogs!
