Most of you know the battle my beautiful boy has fought this year. I had to sit back and watch while he fought for his life. I could love him, give him his meds., take him to the hospital, and care for his daily needs, but ultimately the battle was his to win or lose. I promised him very early on that if he won his war I would do everything I could do make him the very best him he could be. 

The organization I am walking for is wonderful! They came to visit me in the hospital. At Liam's bedside they explained early intervention and ways I could help Liam.  They gave me books and pamphlets, but most of all they gave me someone to talk to. It was then that I began to believe I could help Liam have a happy life. This is a very important moment in the life of anyone who cares for a special needs child.
