As you probably know, every year Daniel, Lou and I make up shoeboxes for kids less fortunate than us.  They are then sent around the world by Samaritan's Purse.

This year we are attempting 125 shoeboxes.  It's the most we've ever tried to do and we could really use your help.  The boxes cost around $57/ea including shipping.  We are doing 75 boys, ages 9-14 and 50 girls, ages 9-14.  Some of the items we have included in the past and hope to include again this year are soccer balls for the boys and sewing kits (big, DE-lux ones) and a stuffed animal for the girls.  Eveyone also gets a nice Moleskine notebook, pens and pencils, a Timex Indiglo watch, socks, gloves, toiletries and stockings overflowing with candy!  Yummers!

Though we never know for sure which country our shoeboxes will go to, we have learned that most of the boxes from California are shipped to warmer climates such as Central and South America.

Some of you have expressed an interest in this fun project over the years and this year we decided to make it easy for you to join us in this irresistable work!  You can donate directly through this website and 100% of your contribution will go into these shoeboxes.
