Hi,

This year, we are on the participant side of things, not organizing the event.  I said I was going to skip this year for awareness and  fundraising for TSC,  but really...... 

TSC is not "taking a break" this year on Matthew, so I will not "take a break" either (except for the organizing an event thing).

We are simply requesting that you think of those with Tuberous Sclerosis on Nov 5 as your "donation."  Thank you!!!  

If you do chose to donate a little, our fundraising goals are much more modest this year, as so many of you have donated year after year.  If you find yourself wanting to give fiancially again for TSC and the disorder that affects every day of our lives, and 2 million others in a more severe form, we want to provide you that opportunity, are grateful for any small amount you donate.

I reference the TS Alliance all the time: for resources on care when new symptoms develop with Matthew, the TS Alliance is the major force behind research progression and government funding; and as Matthew and Ryan grow older, I know they will utilize the TS Alliance resources.  

Matthew is doing well, research is progressing which we hope will help him VERY SOON.  His seizures come and go, coming more often lately :(, but we are still blessed that they are "mild."  And academically he is doing well.  He continues to thrive, with a few glitches here and there.  And Ryan is a great brother, though is beginning to ask questions about Matt and his "differences" and seizures.

Thank you for taking the time to think of TSC on Saturday Nov 5th. And as always and forever, thank you for your support to Matthew and our family over the past 8 years.
