My dear friend Nathan (Nate) Corbett lost his battle with mental illness almost ten years ago.  A musician, a poet, an artist, and a kind, gentle soul, he passed away just weeks before his 28th birthday. 

Generous to a fault and quick with a smile and helping hand, Nate struggled with demons that I can't begin to imagine, and unfortunately, mental illness took him from us way too early. 

There are no words to describe how much he still means to me and so many others who were blessed to know him.  I started this fundraising page to honor Nate's memory and to help raise awareness for the very preventable tragedy of suicide.
