I am writing to ask for your help. On April 1, 2012, I have committed to take the plunge for the athletes of Special Olympics Hawai‘i by participating in their annual Polar Plunge fundraiser. I’ll be diving into a pool of 34 degree ice-water on the lawn of Restaurant Row at Waterfront Plaza! This will NOT be fun for me. But, it might be funny. Just know, if you have ever wanted to get back at me... for being smarter than youuu, or faster than you in a racee.... :P... then this is a way for you to get back at me... WHILE helping Special Olympics athletes!

I have a minimum fundraising goal of $1,000 (because I'll be a Super Plunger: A crazy person who plunges every hour for 12 hours), and would appreciate any help you can offer! You can quickly and easily make a secure gift of $100, $50, $25, $10, or any amount that you can afford by clicking on the “Donate” button today!

Special Olympics Hawai‘i currently serves more than 2,700 local keiki and adults with intellectual disabilities and provides them with opportunities to participate in year-round sports training and competition. Your tax-deductible donation will enable our athletes to succeed – both on and off the playing field – and receive these services and activities at no cost to themselves or their families.
