The Arlington Animal Welfare League has been committed to animals in need since 1944. Not only do they provide animal control services in Arlington County, they also provide a safe and caring environment for homeless animals while finding them loving homes. They educate the public, offer affordable veterinary services and provide a variety of community services as well. I'd like to give back to the league for all of the work that they do by making a large donation to assist them in the new year. I am beginning a fundraiser as well as a shelter needs drive. If you would like to donate, I will be collecting items at a few different locations for the next 4 to 6 weeks. If you would prefer to make a financial donation, thats okay too.
