Dear Family & Friends,

I have registered for my first 5k race ever!!  Even though I am signed up for the 5k, the whole race is a half marathon that seeks to benefit World Vision.

There are so many people in this world that still need such basic care -- care that we take for granted everyday.  World Vision works with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.

God calls us to provide for those who are in need! Matthew 25:40 says, " 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

Please prayerfully consider how you can be a part of what God is doing through organizations like World Vision to care for those in need.  If you'd like to support Team World Vision (the group running for World Vision), you are more than welcome to make a one-time tax-deductible donation to World Vision!
