Diane Deresienski's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Muscular Dystrophy Association!
My husband, Greg Lewbart, and I have temporarily moved to Connecticut to spend some time with my parents because my Dad has been affected by Parkinson's Disease. I am also currently working with Dr. Pennington at the Windsor Animal Clinic who has been diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. Dr. Pennington is an inspiration to so many people in so many ways. I have enjoyed working with him tremendously. My Dad and Dr. Pennington were both excellent athletes in their day. They are my inspiration to get in shape and attempt my first Triathlon. If I survive the 1/2 mile swim, I will then bike 12 miles and attempt to run a 5 K with these tired old legs.
The money that you donate on this page will go directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I have another fundraising page for the American Parkinson Disease Association (www.firstgiving.com/dianederesienskiapda). You may choose either charity to support (or donate to both). I am honored to "Move" for these Movement Disorders and only hope that I can live up to Dr. Pennington's and my Dad's athletic standards.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
