I would like to let those of you who may not know, just how important this cause is to me personally. My one and only baby brother was diagnosed with Aids on August 7, 2006, and was only given 5-6 months to live. Through many prayers and dedication, not only from his Dr. and himself, he is still with us today, and is finally strong enough to walk in this event. He is not only supporting the Aids Outreach Center, but is also a client. The services they have provided to him and continue to do so are nothing short of a Godsend. If it were not for the AOC, assisting him with his medications for instance he would not be with us today. This is just one example of the services they have provided to him, and I am doing this to support not only him, but also to show my undying gratitude to those that have been there for him when he needed them the most. 

I am asking that you please look into your heart and do what you can to help us in our fight, not only to raise funds, but to raise awareness about this horrible disease. I have seen first hand the horrors of this illness and it's toll that it takes, and no one deserves to go through what those that are infected have to face on a daily basis. There is no donation too great or too small. I know my brother is humbled and appreciative of anything you can give, and I am as well. As he says..."my dreams are not infected" and it is his dream to help give back to those that have helped him return to the man he was before. Will you please help us and our dream?
