Thank you for taking the time to look at my fundraiser page.  I have a daughter who has been sick since 1991.  It took until 1996 for her to be diagnosed with Lyme Disease.  We didn't know that the battle was just beginning!  It is hard to diagnose and treat Lyme Disease and patients struggle to be taken seriously. 

I am the administrator of The Genoa City Retirement Home where my daughter Lisa worked until she became so ill she couldn't anymore. Her co-workers and I would like to participate in this Lymewalk to help Drs find a cure and better diagnostic tests. 

So please join us, by either walking or donating to this cause.  The Lyme Walk is September 27th at Independence Grove, 16400 W. Buckley Rd. Libertyville, Il.  It is a 2.5 k walk.  Registration is at 10am or you can easily register online.
