Explore Charter School (www.explorecharterschool.org) is a public, charter school in Brooklyn.  MY school aims to provide students with the academic skills and critical thinking abilities they need to succeed in a college preparatory high school.

Explore Charter School want students to develop their thinking and academic skills beyond the classroom!  Explore Charter School is trying to expose students to the world in two ways.

UPPER SCHOOL "BIG TRIPS":  In the past, students have gone on grade level trips to Atlanta, Boston, Washington DC, and Philadelphia.  Students do sight seeing, attend college tours, and spend the day or days seeing a new place.

Sharon's World: This is an extra curricular club for 5th- 8th grade students.  We study different countries and cultures throughout the year.  Last year, we took our first trip:  to Costa Rica!  This summer we are headed to Mexico.  The majority of the costs of these trips are raised by the school and Friends of Explore.
