In 2008 I ran the New York City Marathon. It was my first marathon - I never liked running that much. As I trained for the event I think its fair to say I got hooked... After 3 months of training as I crossed the finish line, I realised I had just experienced one of the greatest sport events in the world. And, I had achieved a personal success which was more satisfying than I could have imagined before.
