"We Ride for Those Who Died"

Anthony and I will once again be taking part in the Police Unity tour.  This will be our 3rd tour with the group and we are so honored to be able to be involved in a cause that is so close to our heart.  

  We will ride bicycles 250 miles up the coast of Virginia into Washington DC over a three day trip.  On the 3rd day we will ride into the Police Memorial and deliver the funds in which we have raised over the year.  

   On the final night in DC we will take part in the candlelight ceremony, where our fallen brothers and sisters are recognized for the giving the ultimate sacrifice of our jobs.  We will escort the families of the fallen officers to their seats as they too are honored in the ceremony.  

  During our ride we all wear a bracelet with the name of a fallen officer.  Once at the memorial we will meet up with officers family and present them with the bracelet that we wore during our three day ride to DC.  
  

   As a member of the unity tour we are responsible to raise $2000 each.  Our funds are donated to the Police Memorial in Washington DC.  Through the memorial monies are allocated for different areas, including the memorial and to help with the families of fallen officers.
