Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! My 23 year old daughter Annie suffers from a cruel disease called Rett syndrome.
Rett is a neurological disorder that almost exlusively affects girls. These girls develop normally until 6 to 18 months of age, but then they begin to regress. Over time, the disease robs them of the ability to speak, to walk, and to control their own bodies. Rett victims develop extreme spinal curvature, digestive disorders, breathing problems and seizures.
Over the last decade, researchers have made impressive breakthroughs in understanding this disease and, with more research, there is now hope for a cure. But research costs money!
Donating through this website is the easiest way to help out. It is simple, fast and totally secure.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Sincerely,
Dave
