May 14th, 2011 will be the 9th annual, Doin' It For Deb, Deb Sandry 5K Memorial Walk for Melanoma Research.

Deb Sandry, was an inspiration to those who knew her. Deb was diagnosed with Melanoma in 1994, she fought it bravely, aggressively, positively to the very end, and inspired others to do the same. She was an advocate of prevention and early diagnosis, as well as stepped-up research in search of a cure. Out of honor and love for her, this 5K Memorial Walk on the beautiful Augustana College Campus, Rock Island, Illinois, has been established, hoping to carry on her fight and raise money for research.

Packet Pick Up is Friday night, May 13th from 4-7 pm. The walk begins at 9am on Saturday, May 14th. Raffle and auction items will be available prior to the 9am start
