Starting on 16 October 2012, members of the IHG Hotel Performance Support Team (HPS) will start cycling approximately 500 miles benefiting the Give Kids the World Resort in Kissimmee, Fl to help raise money and awareness for this wonderful non-profit organization.
This journey will be approx 470 miles in length and will conclude on October 22d 2012. We will be averaging approx 60-75 miles per day. We will be riding the Pinellas Trail in Tampa, Florida.
This is the first time that any of us have attempted to cycle this kind of distance, and will be the psychical and mental test for us. However we are all very honored and feel lucky that we are able to do this to raise funds and awareness for Give Kids the World. We are starting to prepare and train for this event for the upcoming weeks and months.
