Thank you for visiting my Texas BigBeat 2008 fundraising page!  We have already started planning our second annual Texas BigBeat charity drumming event.  Last year we gathered 438 drummers to play "Deep in the Heart of Texas" (and other great songs) simultaneously and raised over $25,000 for educational programs for young people in the Houston area.  The support and camaraderie of the drumming community, family and friends was awesome!

This year 9 other cities across the U.S. and Canada are holding similar events in their cities and all on the same day.    We are "Drumming Up Dreams" for children, families and communities across the continent.

Organizing the Texas BigBeat is one of the most fulfilling things that I have ever done.  The difference that it makes is heart-warming.
