This year I am walking in honor of all us old dogs! This year Cher turns the big one six and I can't help but remember the day I picked up Sonny and Cher on the Interstate behind Lake Taylor High school.  Although we lost Sonny a few years ago, Cher keeps going strong with her companions Hugo age 10 and Suzy, the baby at 8!

This year has been a tough year for most non-profits and while we have been more fortunate then most, we have seen a decline in our donations . (Can you tell I am the Treasurer??)  Last year our donations were off 40% and this year we are experiencing a 30% decline and with this economy, keeping our  low cost spay/neuter clinic going  is our #1 priority! 

So if you are one of my animal loving friends and have a few bucks to spare to sponsor me, I would appreciate it.  And if you get out to Bark in the Park on Oct 3rd, drop by to see me at the dog walk registration tent!!!
