Autism Society of Minnesota

Steps of Hope 2009

Doris Lemanski's Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Working with students with autism makes me realize how much support the FAMILY needs along with the students. The Minnesota Autism SOciety provides a lot of support to anyone who needs it in our community.

Steps of Hope raises money for the MN Autism Society. AuSM will use proceeds from the Steps of Hope to continue their efforts in offering information and support to individuals, families and staff in a wide variety of ways. AuSM hosts an annual 3-day conference for parents, educators and service providers, offers educational programs including the Discovery Series for parents of children recently diagnosed with autism, and weekly workshops and support groups. Through the Steps of Hope Support Grant program, they invite Minnesota families, schools and service providers to request financial help to purchase goods and services they need as they work with individuals with autism.

Here are some ideas to help you choose an amount. You can give:

$15 for the number of students in our school living with autism.

$25 for the number of laps I hope to walk (I may walk even more).

$50 for the age I will be when I am still teaching kids with ASD (retirement? ha!).

$100 just because you want to!

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
