In Memory of Dana St. John Plette
Dear Friends,
After a four and a half year courageous journey, Dana has finally been released from her battle with ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease. All who knew her recognized Dana’s strong and independent spirit, her zest for life and her love for causes that make a difference. A number of us, at times, have even found ourselves being one of those causes!
While Dana was more and more challenged by ALS symptoms as time went on, she refused to be defined by those challenges. Dana gave this fight everything she had right to the very end. She showed more grit, determination and heart than any of us ever thought possible. We are left inspired, saddened by her passing, but living much richer lives for having known her.
Dana’s family and friends have established an endowment in her memory for Cherish Our Children, Intl, an organization she helped to launch and on behalf of which she continues to serve.
In addition to programs for young people in the United States, we serve children in Mexico, Eastern Europe and Africa.
In addition to our donations, $10,000 has been added to this fund from Dana's estate.
Whatever you can contribute, we thank you on behalf of our commitment to provide a brighter future for the world’s most vulnerable children.
Love to you all,
Doug (and Dana)
