I feel really blessed to have the life I have, the family and friends and opportunties to contribute.  We live in a time when we have the wherewithal to create a turning point, a decisive change in what's possible for ourselves, our children and our children's children.  I see myself as an investor in the future, investing my time, my money and other resources to help generate a world that wasn't available when you and I were growing up.  The way I see it, the key to achieving a world that works for everyone is investing in our children, not with handouts but with programs and with opportunities particularly for children who wouldn't have them otherwise.  They then have the chance to step up and make their unique contribution, not as someone who is needy but as someone who recognizes they have a genuine and critical difference to make with their life.
