Dear Friends

Last year we formed a group and jumped into some very icy water on a cold December day to raise money for Special Olympics in Alaska. Although I was quite nervous about the whole affair I knew it was the least I could do for our fellow residents in need of our assistance to realize their full potential in life. The stories of success for our Special Olympic athletes to successfully integrate into society because they participate in the program are almost endless. I am committed to them for as long as my legs will carry me to the water’s edge and someone can help me out of the hole that is cut in the frozen lake. Skip a Christmas present or two this year and help me make a difference in the lives of some very special people in our community. I have a wonderful fishing trip for two for the highest donor to my fundraising effort. Each donation is gratefully appreciated and I hope you will come out and watch us take the plunge on December 17th.
