Walk for Economic Empowerment - Where You Are!
Mayme and I couldn't make it to Boston this year for the Walk for Economic Empowerment, so we're doing it right here in Gilford on Saturday, September 17. We'll have our official Walk T-Shirts on and be praying for PEER Servants and the work they do empowering the materially poor as we walk. We'll miss not being with everyone in Boston (as well as those delicious Chick-fil-A sandwiches) as we've been at the Boston Walk every year since 2007.
We will be making our own donation, but if you'd like to add to that, we know PEER Servants will put it to good use in extending God's kingdom among the materially poor as they now partner in 10 countries and their partners serve more than 100,000 people. We got to meet many of their partners this summer at their conference in Alton Bay and even give some of them rides in the boat. They are very special people and have a real love for the Lord.
Thank you for your support.
