Hello everyone!

Another year has come and gone, and little Charlie isn't so little anymore.  Each day brings another milestone in Charlie's progress.  She is now standing up and walking around the coffee table.  She loves her big brother, and they spend lots of time playing and wrestling on the floor.  Charlie is now a little over 18 months old, and her teachers are very happy with everything that she can do.  She is without a doubt our little princess!

This past year, through the efforts of ODSPN, Charlie and Bobby got to go to their first baseball game!  We spent a day with our friends watching the Omaha Royals play.  We also got to go to Pirate's Cove - a fun waterpark.  Our little fish just loves the water!

ODSPN is a great organization that helps us parents get together and talk about the challenges of raising kids with Down Syndrome.  They also do a great job of organizing activities that allow the kids to play and interact together.  The best part about it is that Bobby can be part of it as well.  Ultimately, it's these experiences that will make him a better person as he gets older because he will be more aware of kids with disabilities and challenges.

We know times are tough, and the economy has seen better days.  But, we also know that this is a great cause to support.  ODSPN does more than just provide fun experiences for the kids.  They are the advocates for our children - pushing to make sure that our kids are properly educated and not ignored.  Any contribution will be accepted and put to good use.
