We have ambitious goals for 2012: publish a friends and relatives booklet, a pregnancy loss booklet, Spanish versions of our products, and continue managing and maintaining the Down Syndrome Pregnancy website. But, we can only achieve these goals and move forward with your help to reach our $75,000 fundraising goal.

This will be even more critical during the next year since more accurate blood tests for Down syndrome were recently released, and more parents will be finding out prenatally that their child will have Down syndrome. The tests are about 99% accurate at detecting Down syndrome during the first trimester, meaning that expectant parents will potentially have 7 months of waiting, wondering, worrying, and hoping. It is only through your support that we can continue to do this meaningful work and offer even more resources to help expectant parents learning about a diagnosis of Down syndrome.
