On 10-07-07 I will be running the Portland Marathon to raise money for the Special Olympics Oregon Chapter.  In January of this year I was fortunate enough to be put in charge of the Polk County Sheriff's Office participation in this event.  I have learned a great deal from all of the people involved.  I feel that taking part in this marathon is a great way to raise money for all of the special needs athletes. These athletes depend on all of us to raise money so that they can continue to participate in this wonderful program.  Thank you in advance for your donation and please pass this web site on to anyone you might think would also like to sponsor me in my 26.2 mile journey.
