SPECIAL OLYMPICS ILLINOIS

2012 Polar Plunge Joliet Joliet,  Illinois

Dwayne English's Page

For the past 12 years, I have been participating in the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge.  Whether jumping in frigid water 24 times in 24 hours or just once, I do it in the name of unconditional love for my son Cole, who has Down Syndrome and Autism.  I'll never give up on him.

To reward your generosity, I’m going to join more than 5,700 people statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunges for Special Olympics Illinois. I guess you could say that I’m “Freezin’ for a Reason”!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the LETR Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois.

Many thanks for your support – and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
