Yep, it's that time again!  Time to go CRAZY FOR COLE!   

For a 4th consecutive year, I'll be jumping into a freezing Lake Michigan.  Not once, not twice, but TWENTY FOUR times! 

On Friday, February 26th I'll begin my journey in which I will live on Northwestern University's North Beach along the icy shores of Lake Michigan for a span of 24 hours.  Every hour, the alarm will ring and we will WILLINGLY run into the crashing waves of Lake Michigan.  I will not cease until I have plunged 24 times!! 

The most popular question is WHY? 

My reason WHY was born on September 13th, 2000.

My reason WHY is faced with the challenges of Down Syndrome & Autism.

My reason WHY has bright smile and bright red hair.

My reason WHY has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love.

My reason WHY has taught me to celebrate the little things in life! 

My reason WHY is my son, Cole.   I am CRAZY for him! 

I have a love for my family and I have a love for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois! In the last three years I have been a Super Plunger, I have raised the following funds for Special Olympics Illinois with your help!!

2007 Super Plunge - $4,520.00 raised

2009 Super Plunge - $2,795.00 raised

2010 Super Plunge - ???

The last couple years, I have been joined by a small group of friends and family to make up our team, Crazy for Cole, raising over $11,000 in 2009! 

In these difficult economic times, I understand it may not be always be possible to donate as much as you wish, but I am asking you to help an organization that not only provides opportunity to those with intellectual disabilities, but also provides hope for my son Cole and my family.
