We are asking our family and friends to support "Katie's Musketeers"- our team for the Diabetic Youth Foundation's 2008 Families in the Forest Fundraising Walk.
 Katie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes two years ago.   Our lives were turned upside down!  We knew very little about diabetes!  Today, Katie is teaching her friends and classmates how she checks blood sugars and counts carbs! 

In the Diabetic Youth Foundation we have found care, education, resources and support.  Perhaps more importantly, Katie has found an inspiring and nurturing community made up of other little girls and boys who are just like her.  As she grows up and learns to cope with diabetes, we will forever be thankful to have found DYF.  We hope you will join us in supporting this life-saving organization!
