Team Collinator!!!

Its Mercedes Marathon time! This year’s Mercedes events will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2010. We are part of a relay team running in honor of Collin and our goal is to raise $3500. This is our second year at The Bell Center and since Collin has started attending there he has made amazing improvements and wonderful new friends.
The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs seeks to maximize the development of children from birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay. The infants and toddlers who attend this program have a wide range of disabilities ranging from Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and autism, to spina bifida and other, rare genetic abnormalities. In all, over 100 children with special needs from throughout central Alabama attend this extraordinary program each year!
The team running in honor of Collin is made up of Bob McAlsiter, Mark and Kimberly Pretnar and us. Collin was diagnosed with gross motor skill developmental delay in May 2008. With the help of his teachers and therapists, he has learned how to crawl and is walking all over the place with a walker. He is a busy two year old that loves his brothers whether it be playing football, reading books, playing cars or dancing to music. We can't say enough great things about what The Bell Center has done for Collin and our family.
