I am walking for Hope for a cure for Huntington's disease. Huntington's disease is a disorder passed down through families in which nerve cells in certain parts of the brain waste away, or degenerate.

If you don't know my story, last February I lost my mom to this horrible disease. In 1997 I lost my grandmother to it.  I have watched this HORRIBLE disease kill my family. Right now there is NO KNOWN CURE for this disease. My brother and I both share a 50/50 chance of carrying the same gene and fighting the same uphill battle my mom fought.

This is something I am doing to help myself, my family and remember my mom. She was an AMAZING woman, who still influences my life each day. She never got to meet my youngest baby and my oldest will not remember who her Grandma was. I will help them remember and never forget how much she loved them.
