We've been volunteering with the Delco SPCA for four years now.  In the early days, it was so hard to leave the animals after a meeting at the center or a shift walking dogs; we wanted to take them all home.  Now, thanks in large part to support from our generous donors, the animals cared for by the dedicated team at the SPCA have an outstanding chance for happy, healthy lives with loving families.  

Our save rates are approaching 95%, adoptions are up 40% and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries are up 60%.

These days, the SPCA is a happy place.  The lobby is crowded with potential adopters; the vet clinic is thriving; and on any given day, you're likely to find yourself in the middle of some event--from dog obedience training to a girl scout volunteer day.
