This website was designed to accept donations in memory of our son, Kendall Alexander Johnson (An Angel Once Entertained), and in support of the Fifth Annual A Taste of Hope fundraiser benefiting the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children.
Kendall lost his battle with an aggressive brain tumor seven years ago. A Taste of Hope was started to both honor the life and memory of our precious son and support the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children (BTFC) as they continue to offer hope to families affected by pediatric brain tumors.
A Taste of Hope features delicious cuisine from more than 15 restaurants, fabulous prizes from your favorite eateries and a live jazz band. And this year, attendees will be dazzled by a "a touch of fashion", a kids fashion show featuring children who are battling or have battled a brain tumor. We are really excited about his portion of the event as it allow us to shine a positive spotlight on some truly amazing children.
As many of you know, we have been very supportive of BTFC. Since 1983 the Foundation has been a source of support to many families through social, emotional, informational and financial support programs. Through the Butterfly Fund (BTFC's financial assistance piece and biggest program), families are assisted with household bills, tavel costs associated with treatment, funeral expenses and more. This type of assistance is so important as the costs associated with caring for your child, from missing work to traveling to appointments, can be daunting.
