Each year thousands of children are diagnosed with a brain and/or spinal cord tumor and quite often are left with side effects that will follow them throughout their lives. The Alpharetta-Smyrna Alumni (ASA) Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.,in memory of Kendall Alexander Johnson, is sponsoring a Team for this years William’s Walk and Run which is hosted by the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children (BTFC) on November 1, 2008.
The BTFC is a non-profit organization that 1. provides emotional and informational support to families of children with brain tumors 2. provides public education and awareness of the disease 3. raises funds to support research for a cure and for the improvement in the treatment and the quality of life of the victims of pediatric brain tumor disease. www.braintumorkids.org
