Childrens Brain Tumor Foundation, Inc.
Hey yall, welcome to my page. I'd like to say thank you for taking the time to even come to my page and considering a donation. I am trying to raise money to spread the awareness of child brain tumor, and also to help with the research on how brain tumors are caused. Some of you don't know, but my son was diagnosed with an anaplastic ependymoma in October of 2010. The tumor was fully resected and he had to undergo radiation therapy because the tumor came back malignant. On top of that, he had 2 months of intense Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. He was discharged on December 24, 2010. Rj still has therapy twice a week and will be having eye surgery next month to fix his left eye. Unfortunately, during surgery, the tumor was so close to a nerve that controls the eye, that it had gotten damaged while taking the tumor out. Rj is a very strong, energetic, imaginative, friendly, and respectful boy. He loves to play with cars, and he likes to pretend to be a Marvel Hero. He says he wants to be a chef when he gets older. I am very proud to call Rj my son! He is a perfect example of God's work. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit our page, and we hope you have a BLESSED day!
Sincerely,
Edith, Robby Sr., Robby Jr
Ps. I will be starting a blog on Rj's progression beginning when he was first diagnosed! As soon as I get the ball rolling, I will update this page with a link to my blog site. Thanks again!
