Remember exploring the quiet woods for endless hours as a kid? Climbing tall trees. Building forts. Scurrying over mounds of rocks. Digging in the dirt. Throwing rocks in ponds. Running. Discovering. Imagining. Adventuring. 



Fast forward to today. Many kids today are aware of the global threats to the environment --- but their physical contact, their intimacy with nature, is fading.



Since 1988, Educo Leadership Adventures has used the wilderness as its classroom, textbook and guide for young people ages 9-25. About 40 percent of youth we serve are considered "at risk."



Through challenging, empowering and primitive outdoor programs set among wind, rocks and trees, Educo successfully draws forth leadership, compassion and a sense of purpose. We help kids - young and old, from all races and backgrounds - to learn solid, life-changing skills. 



Donations are used to supplement Educo's work with youth and other community organizations who may not have the financial resources to participate in programs that challenge kids to step outside their comfort zone, connect with new and unexpected friends and discover their sense of self and innate leadership. 100% of these funds go directly to youth.
