Hey All,   

Come Join Us walking and running for the Southern Arizona Aids Foundation (SAAF)  AIDS Walk is Sunday October 8, 2006 (see details below). This will help (SAAF) help support those who struggle living with AIDS in our own community.  

Stan Ponczek has started the ball rolling with the popcorn fund raising table and unfortunately took a popcorn oil burn but his smile and drive keep us going!   THANKS STAN - YOU ARE THE MAN!   

The new location, the University of Arizona campus, Central Mall as AIDSWALK Tucson hosts our annual 5K Walk/10K Run benefiting the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF). Last year AIDSWALK raised more than $223,000 for SAAF's programs and services and was attended by more than 3,500 people.

6:30a – Registration opens

7:00a – 10K Run starts

7:15a – Daybreak Quilt Opening Ceremony

7:45a – TIHAN Interfaith Service

8:15a – AIDSWALK 5K Opening Ceremony

8:30a – AIDSWALK 5K Walk

8:45a – Music – Politically Incorrect Band

9:30a – Live Music – TMI (Too Much Information)

“Runner Up – Best Cover Band” – 2006 Tucson Area Music Awards.

To help aid others is rewarding and uplifting and it’s a great way to remember our humanness.
