Edwin is celebrating his first birthday by asking to help donate to Reach Out and Read, a nonprofit organization that promotes early literacy and school readiness in pediatric exam rooms nationwide. 

As Edwin's mommy I feel blessed to have such a precious baby. His daddy and I enjoy sharing our love of reading with him. Our house is filled with book and Edwin loves to read. Unfortunately, not every child is so lucky. Early literacy is important for each and every child. It breaks my heart to think of children who may not be introduced to books in their early years. Reach Out and Read is a wonderful oragnization that strives to put books in childrens hands. 

Because Edwin is so blessed we ask that you consider donating to Reach Out and Read instead of buying him a birthday gift.
