Hello All,

My name is Cassidy and I am raising money to help support the amazing students and horses at HETRA (Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy).  This is a program that my Mom has worked with for many years and I have grown up getting to see the benefits the students get from riding the horses.  I even get the opportunity to volunteer by being the "student" when the horses are finishing their training.

My horse Diesel and I will be competing in the walk trot division at the HETRA Little Britches Horse Show on September 25, 2010 at Skyline Ranches Arena in Elkhorn, Nebraska.  I love my horse and we have had fun competing throughout the year at the Palomino, Paint and Pinto shows.  We have traveled many miles thoughout this summer and the "D Man" (as I call him) always takes good care of me.

I am raising money for the Little Britches Horse Show Pledge Contest which helps to support the student's who ride each week at HETRA.

Here is a little information about HETRA.

HETRA’s mission is to improve the quality of life both physically and emotionally of adults and children with disabilities through equine assisted activities. Tuition assistance helps to meet the many expenses of the program such as insurance, horse care, etc, so that no one is turned away for financial reasons.  This allows many in the community to benefit from this unqiue form of therapy.
