It is that time of year again! Helen’s Angels will be walking in the Annual "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" Walk-A-Thon sponsored by the Scleroderma Foundation Delaware Valley Chapter in memory of our Nana and in honor of our beloved uncle and cousin, Mark Lee on Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Manasquan, New Jersey.Helen’s Angels would like to send a special thank you to all of our loyal supporters! It is because of your generosity over the years that we have been able to raise over $Amount in honor of our beloved mother and Nana and dear cousin Mark.
Scleroderma is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the afflicted person’s own immune system attacks various tissues. For many suffering individuals, the symptoms are invisible because the internal organs are being attacked. Scleroderma is life threatening due to the severity of damage done to the organs.
Once again, we ask you to consider making a pledge of $25 or more to help us reach our goal of $3,000. This year we would like to also ask if you could help in walking with us to help make a more substantial impact for Team Helen’s Angels.
