On Sunday, September 13, 2009, we will be walking with Team Shriver for the 11th Annual Walk to Cure Cancer. The five mile walk-a-thon raises money to support research at UMass Memorial Cancer Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Now, in its 11th year, over 50,000 walkers have joined the Walk to Cure Cancer and raised nearly $6 million.

We are walking in memory of my father, Eugene Cournoyer, who died of lymphoma in 1989 at the age of 61 and in honor of those who have battled cancer, and others who are fighting this horrible disease. For more information visit www.walktocurecancer.org
